Mysterious Sound Discoveries

– By Helen Greenfield

On the Mediterranean island of Malta, a 5000-year-old underground temple carved into the limestone known as the Hal Saflieni Hypogeum emits a low-frequency believed to have functioned as a place where humans interacted with otherworldly beings. The profound influence of sound in rituals and ceremonies has been referenced in the ancient scriptures of the Aboriginal people of Australia, Vedic philosophers in India, the Greeks, and the Egyptians.

The Hal Saflieni Hypogeum proves that everything in the universe vibrates at a specific frequency, and sound can restore balance and harmony in the body.

Honestly, as a classically trained cellist, I was late to the sound healing party. Instead of bathing in the healing frequencies emitted from the cello, I focused entirely on metronomes, tuners, practice, bow direction, and performing. My motto back in the day was “Get it right or a backstabber will take your place.”

Then, one magical day, I experienced a sound journey in Mexico, and my life as a professional cellist completely changed.

I got home from Mexico, turned off the lights, and played long tones to imitate the sustain of the singing bowls. I fell in love with the cello in a completely different way. Soon, I had covered all of my gigs with substitute cellists (previous backstabbers, ha-ha), tuned my cello to 444 hertz, so open C is heart frequency 528 Hertz, and improvised meditation music. I didn’t know how I was doing it. I called it God songs, and still do!

I knew my soul’s purpose. I had just started the third stage of my life. And now I was being called to use my psychic powers to improvise meditation music and cello skills for an impactful delivery. And honestly, when I am whaling on the acoustic or electric cello while

Steve is whaling on the gongs, everybody takes off on an unreal out-of-this-world journey!

But what do today’s scientists say about sound healing? Well, they no longer deny that frequencies have the potential to slow down brainwaves, significantly reducing stress, tension, and anxiety. Why did it take so long to reach the Western world?  People who bathe in healing frequencies self-heal, and that’s not exactly big money for the medical industry 🙂

I invite you to experience the Ultimate 60-minute Sound Bath! Steve and I treat you with great respect and care to make you comfortable! You get to choose if you’d like an airy, light symphony for your angels to shower you with love or if you need to increase intensity with more binaural beats and volume to encourage trauma release. Either way, rest assured, we are here to serve you and will cater to your unique group’s energy!

Singing Bowls and Binaural Beats

Binaural Beats, or two dissonant notes beating against each other, are used in sound healing to release energy blockages and balance the chakras. The consensus is that binaural beats stimulate intentionality, self-healing, and trauma release.
